Three months complete and we find ourselves in a state of Lockdown… With plenty of time to spare, my aim is still to keep active as and when I can, while complying with the government’s rules and guidelines.

Here we are now, officially in a ‘Lockdown’ situation in the UK. While I have this time on my hands, I thought I pay a bit more attention to my blog and write about one of my most memorable walks from 2019, which took place towards the end of the year.
With the arrival of September, our thoughts often turn to that of autumn, a chill in the air and the final passing of a summer that probably wasn’t as wet or miserable as we might choose to remember.
Two-thirds of the year complete. Let’s take a look at August.

Less than a year after my first walk in the Western Brecon Beacons, I returned to the same area with a near-identical group of people. New peaks to be bagged, cairns to be spotted and a chance to visit ‘The Other Lake’, after wading knee-deep in to one of the pair, last summer.
