Washford Walk

A circular walk from Washford in West Somerset. Stepping in to Exmoor National Park on a rainy day.

Sunday 11th July 2021

It was forecast to be a wet day. I’d hope to have been able to spend it on Exmoor but, I wasn’t keen on driving as deep in to the heart of the National Park. My Bank Holiday weekend had begun! This was to be the first of two major outings over the course of three days. I’d not been across to the Welsh mountains since a very wet day in January. For this weekend, the forecast promised undisturbed sunshine.
